Cynthia is originally from Toronto, Ontario and holds a degree in Art Education and Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD).

Cynthia studied at the Federation of Astrological Studies (FAS), London, England from 2009 until 2011. She attended the 2010 Astrological Conference in Wyboston Lakes, England as the recipient of the Ida Phillips Scholarship.

In 2011 she moved to Australia where she studied at the Astro Mundi School in Adelaide and received her Certificate from the Astrological Guild of Educators International Inc. in 2013.  While in Australia she served as the Secretary for the Faculty of Australian Astrologers in South Australia (FAASA) and when back in Canada, as Secretary for the CAAE in 2022-23. She received her Diploma from the CAAE in 2019 and her Horary Practitioners Certificate from the School of Traditional Astrology - London, England in 2024.

Currently living in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

She has an active consulting practice since 2013 and teacher for the CAAE.
